Data Engineering for Fleet Data

21 21 people viewed this event.

Data engineering is a vital first step in a fleet analytics workflow and presents model developers and data scientists with clean data in a format that is easy for them to work with. When collecting large fleet datasets, there are many approaches and technologies for storing your data, each with tradeoffs between performance, size, and usability. Attend this session to learn how MATLAB can help with your data engineering challenges and integrate with your existing data tools. We will cover:

  • Working with file formats like MDF and parquet
  • Organizing data utilizing different table schemas
  • Cleaning and preprocessing large timeseries datasets
  • Considerations for storing fleet data
  • Querying and accessing data from MATLAB and Simulink
  • Automating your data preprocessing in the cloud
