CES - MATLAB in the Middle East

Model Based System Engineering(MBSE) for Autonomous Systems

400 400 people viewed this event.

Autonomous systems are prevalent in a variety of applications across industries, from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for inspection and surveying to Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) for transporting material.

These autonomous systems require the capabilities of self-awareness and situational-awareness while understanding how to operate within a given environment.  Developing autonomous systems requires multi-disciplinary skillsets covering various technology domains (controls, perception, motion planning) and simulation to reduce risk/cost/rework before hardware test.

About the presenter

Anila Benny is an application engineer at CES, authorised resellers of MathWorks products in the Middle East. Anila holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT) and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from VIT University, India. She is experienced in various domains including automotive application software development and testing, project management, spectroscopic research, biomedical engineering and teaching. At CES, she has been closely working with customers from the automotive, robotics, aerospace and defense and in particular supporting their adoption of model-based system engineering (MBSE) and model-based design (MBD).
