Application Engineer - Dubai, UAE
CES is an authorised reseller of MathWorks products (MATLAB® & Simulink®) in the Middle East. We are looking for an Application Engineer to work with innovative companies in the aerospace/defense, oil/gas, communications, automation and machinery industries.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and workflows and then recommend MathWorks technical capabilities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrate application examples (onsite visits, seminars etc.)
- Work with sales and marketing to create strategies for different accounts and markets
- Execute in-depth technical engagements with customers evaluating MathWorks products
- Provide Technical support for customers using MATLAB, Simulink and the entire suite of products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Communications)Â
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink in a relevant industry such as Aerospace, Automotive, Communications or Automation
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of MathWorks Products and Model-Based Design methodology
- Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning algorithms
